The Harley Power Box Rake really speeds up the process when set up properly. Set straight, not angled, rubber barrier above the roller up or removed to allow all the debis and dirt to pass over the roller. High travel speed is critical for this to work properly, the idea clean all the rock and debris out of the soil, placing it on the surface for easy pick up using a Cherrington Soil Screener. The dirt in front is pulverized by the rock being dug up and rolled, then the pulverized dirt rolls over the roller into the kerf, the heavier rock and debris shoots back, left on the surface. No need to ‘screen’ dirt, so travel speed with the Cherrington is also very fast and no dirt removed from the site. The surface behind the Cherrington is ready to be seeded, flat and level, every particle the same size.
